It is the mission of Vocational Rehabilitation Management, Inc., to provide assistance to advance vocational and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities that enrich Migrant/Latino cultural, and traditional values which promote independence and a self-determined quality of life.

A Brief History

Vocational Rehabilitation Management, Inc. (VRMI) was established in 1983 by Jerry Jimenez and Marco T. Lenis, two long-time Hispanic community leaders and advocates in Rockford, Illinois.  VRMI works to provide bilingual, culturally-sensitive services for Hispanic with disabilities including migrant seasonal farm workers and their families in the areas of education, rehabilitation, and job placement.  VRMI takes a comprehensive approach to help Hispanic with disabilities obtain services to improve the quality of their lives and better their prospects for the future.
